Piece of Eden - Powerhouse of the Illuminati Part1

If you are an Assassin's Creed fan then you will know what Pieces of Eden are, but if you are new to the topic here is a crash course on the history of AC.

The main protagonist is Desmond Miles who lived in the year 2012. He soon found himself being kidnapped and brought to a secret organization much like the Illuminati itself. He was introduced to a device called the Animus that can transport his conscious mind to his ancestors. That is how he found out that he had the bloodline of assassins.

Altair and Ezio were two of his ancestors that the player could control. After a series of events Altair discovered a bloodthirsty clan know as the Templars who wanted world domination (Hint: Illuminati and world domination?). This clan uses the Pieces of Eden that were artifacts or rather gifts given to mankind by the First Civilization. They were regarded as Gods who bred with mankind forming the first assassins Adam and Eve. But the world was soon hit by solar flares which wiped out all of mankind except a few. The First Civilization fled to the heavens.
Desmond had a direct lineage to Adam and Eve and therefore were immune to the mind controlling effects of the Pieces of Eden. He was tasked with the job of finding all these pieces to prevent them from falling in the evil,s clutches which were the Templars. Using the Animus he controlled Altair and Ezio to assassinate all these Templars all of them being famous personalities such as Thomas Edison, Franklin Roosevelt and Vasco da Gama.

After fulfilling these tasks, he gained the power of Eagle Sight where Desmond talked to one of the Gods, Minerva who told him that his world in 2012 will end due to another round of Solar Flares, the only way to stop it is by unlocking a vault using all the pieces of Eden. He does so, and in the process he dies. But he saves the world from the flares.

Here ends part 1 of the article, part 2 will be uploaded shortly
