(WARNING: This post may contain spoilers for Majora's Mask, don't read if you plan on playing the game yourself)
So, you guys know, the game is all about masks that give you abilities, some don't. Just give you access to milk bars. And there are even masks that change your look entirly! And give you abilities. Like, the Deku Mask. Well, I have two ways on saying the Link has a mask that changed his look that he can't take off.
1) (WARNING! This reason contains spoilers for the ending of Majora's Mask) So at the ending, you play games with children wearing boss masks. After beating one of the minigames, the child says "Can I ask a question? Your true face... what kind of face is it? I wonder... Under that mask... Is that your true face?" Which is a hint that Link is possibly wearing a mask he can't take off.
2) I'm going to use the song on the Ocarina, The Elegy of Emptiness for this reason, So some of you might know the this song creates a statue of you depending on your current form, let's say if you wearing the Goron Mask, t would place a statue of (Spoiler Alert!) Darunia, the Goron you take form of. And if you were Link, it gives you a statue of him, but the face is different... Kinda like Ben Drowned's... This may be a statue of what Link truly looks like.
